krenamekrename is a solution for KDE 3.x to rename HUGE amount of files in one go. Image you downloaded some MP3 files which all have a stupid format. With krename you rename them in one go. krename also supports lots of plugins which provides you useful file informations, like format of a GIF file, which can be used in the filename.
